Since I have posted about other peoples weddings I thought I would post about my own brothers!

Jacob Alan Willoughby married Rikki Leigh Heard on October 29,2011 at the Rockin' H Ranch in Santa Anna, Texas at 7PM

I have always been really picky of who my brothers date, and me and my brothers have always had a pact that we would get the others approval before we get married. So when Jacob first met Rikki Leigh I had my guard up about her, just like all the other girls he had dated, because I didn't want him hurt. The more and more I hung out with her the more I loved her! She was just like a big sister to me. Neither one of us have sisters, so we were so excited about being close. Now shes 29 years old and im 20, so its not like we had sleep overs and stuff lol.

I remember my brother coming up to me and asking me, before he asked her dad or my mom or anyone, if it was alright if he could marry her. I said YESSSS but then was thinking, im probably about to lose my brother, not like hes dying or leaving, but hes starting a family. He's not always going to have Christmas with us or Easter or Birthdays, because hes making his own traditions. And thinking all these things made me upset because im not good with change esp when me and my brothers are so close.

So sometime in February my brother made arrangements with the Hotel Fredonia (My work) to see if he could propose on the roof top. I was so excited for him! He was sooooo nervous he couldnt even stand still. All of our family and his and her friends came out to celebrate this special time in there life. While Jacob was pacing back and forth looking over the ledge of the hotel looking her. She finally came up. She was soooo surprise!

RikkiLeigh - "What are you doing?"

Jacob- "What does it look like im doing, Im proposing to you silly!"

This make me tear up looking at RikkiLeighs dad toasting to them and my brother fighting back tears!

About three days before the wedding we drove all the way to Santa Anna,TX (about a 10 hour drive) to where RikkiLeigh's family has a ranch called the Rockin' H Ranch (Doesnt stand for Haylie, I asked) to start setting up for the wedding! My brother did not want to get married in a church and didnt want to wear a tux and dress shoes. Thats not who he is. He is a boots and dirt kinda guy, so thats just the type of wedding they had.

Me and my mom were in charge of the Rehearsal Dinner and we decided on a Fiesta theme. We rented out a mexican restaurant, and decorated with lots of color! we had mustaches and sombreros and maracas. It was so much fun!
