Photo Frenzy

I went on a picture taking obsession today. I got off work at 11am this morning and I HATE just sitting at home. I have ADD and just sitting for hours is not an option for me. So since my horses have been gone from over a week and a half I thought I would go spend some time with them. Since my parents came back from their trail ride Sharlit (my horse) hasnt been acting herself, shes very standoff-ish and not eating and just walking around with her head down. This has been going on for a few days now. And when I was out there visiting them I saw Sharlit lay down expecting her to roll around in the dirt but she just laid there with her head on the ground.....for those of you that dont know anything about horses. This is a horrible sign! Laying down is not good for a horse. The way there organs are arranged in their bodies laying down cuts off circulation of blood and oxygen for them. So I panic because she does not want to get up. I call my dad and he calls the vet and tells me to get her up anyway I could and to bring her over ASAP. Dad rushed over from work to help me get them loaded in the trailer and hooked up to the truck and to head to the vet. I have anxiety and so my first reaction is to stress and to think about ALL possible things that could be wrong.

My brother Seth had this little Black Lab named Goose. The CUTEST puppy ever. My brother was so attached to this dog. Goose got loose one time and jumped into a swimming pool and didnt know how to swim and sank to the bottom. Seth ran and jumped into the pool, clothes and all and grab this little puppy and gave him cpr. Luckily, Goose lived. a year later Goose got ran over. :( Seth was so devastated and it took him 3 years later to get another dog. Seth buried Goose and I went and visited him today. I miss this dog so much. Labs are probably one of the best behaved dogs ever! 

While I was waiting for my dad I laid down in the grass and watched the clouds go by. So relaxing to just sit and think about things! 

I love Dr. Ward. He is such a GREAT vet for large or small animals. All of our pets have gone to them so they know us personally. I recommend them to everyone!

While I was waiting for Sharlit to get done at the vet I walked around and saw 2 baby foals (baby horses) They were so cute and tiny! and only had 2 teeth. Usually baby horses are very shy and wont come up to you. But these had HUGE personalities and came right up to me and let me pet them. They were so cute!

Im SOOO ready for this trail ride! All proceeds go to cancer research for ST. JUDE research hospital. Which is such a great thing! Every chance I get I donate money to programs like this, So I am so excited to be apart of something so awesome as this!
